Symphony No. 36, The “Linz” – 1st movement
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) – Austria; First composition was at age five. Upon his death thirty years later, Mozart had completed more than 600 major works.
Astor Piazzola; Argentina’s best known composer. He was a bandoneon player and creator of the Nueva Tango, which combines elements of jazz and classical music.
Theme from the Warsaw Concerto
Richard Addinsell, English composer. Featuring Janet Smith, solo pianist. The concerto was written for the 1941 film, Dangerous Moonlight, which is about the 1939 invasion of Poland by the Nazis.
Ennio Morricone and Andrea Morricone – Italy. Arr. By Bob Krogstad.
Since 1946, Ennio Morricone has composed over 500 film scores plus more than a hundred classical works. He gained international fame by composing for well- known American Westerns.

Brazilian composer who was a creative force behind the rhythms of Bossa Nova. He is best know for the Girl from Ipanema.

Franz Josef Haydn – Austria. Composer of 106 Symphonies in the late 1700’s. His most famous pupil was Beethoven.

Chris Thomas composer – Bend Oregon
Chris, our featured cellist is a composer of film music. He was an orchestrator and arranger for the Los Angeles Philharmonic at one time , now teaches in Bend and creates the musical atmosphere for several entertainment venues. COCO is thrilled to have him as one of our members.

Jones is an American composer, conductor, musician, television producer, mentor. He was born in 1933 and is still very active. Best known as a composer and producer for legendary musicians Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin.
